Take the R1S Adventure – a seven-seat SUV that’s gnarly like a Jeep but doesn’t spill fuel down its chin when it gets excited and can leave the old dinosaur for dead when you stomp on the accelerator – quad e-motors shoot this baby to 100mph in a supercar-bashing seven seconds but go easy and it’ll take you more than 300 miles. On top of the base model trim, the R1S Adventure sees an incredible Off-Road Upgrade and superb ventilated seats. All we can say is look out Musky.     If you opt for this trim, not only is your heat seated but it’s ventilated too. Meaning you can keep your cheeks cool or cosy depending on seasonal needs. Plus, the seats are made extra lush with perforated vegan leather and patterned stitching.

    With three rows of seats there’s already lots of space to play with. But thanks to the origami-worthy folding skills of the R1S there are lots of configuration options at hand. The second row can fold 60/40 and the third fold 50/50. Plenty of options for hefting cargo.

    Thanks to the extra space resulting from the lack of an engine, the cabin of the Rivian R1S is insanely spacious. With up to seven sumptuous seats designed with durable materials like vegan leather and storage galore, this is a space you’ll love to sit in.

    The R1S can automatically adjust its height. With no growing pains to be seen it can go from a mighty 14.2 inches off the ground, all the way down to a dainty 8.1 inches. So there’s no need to give the kiddies (or yourself) a leg up. Just let the R1S do the work.

    The lovely jubbly seating in the Rivian R1S are heated. That means you’ll have a toasty bum (not bun) no matter the seasons around you. Add that to the driver lumbar adjustment and you’re looking at one super comfy seat indeed.

    The roof is an all-glass panoramic spectacle for the senses (well, for the eyes). Stretching front to back this glass ceiling we *don’t* want to break gives an incredible view above. And in mid-2022 they’re looking at having an option for an open-air removeable roof. Cool.

    Frunkin’ fabulous
    Measuring in at about 18 cubic feet, the frunk in this hunk has bags of room. Suitcases, bags, small dogs (don’t actually) you should fit whatever you need in here. Add that to space available in the cabin and there’s up to 108 cubic feet of storage in total.

The Rivian R1S Adventure isn’t just wicked fast, it’s wicked safe too. Jam-packed with safety features, it's stupidly simple to drive and park. And most importantly, they make it kinda difficult to crash too.

  • Autonomous braking

    Make a brake for it
    The R1S can brake autonomously in an emergency. So if there’s a collision risk detected and you aren’t quite quick enough, the R1T can engage automatic braking to help minimise risk and damage to both you and your vehicle.

  • Blind spot assist

    Extra fancy eyes
    No need to worry over blind spots anymore thanks to Blind Spot Detection that comes with the Rivian R1S. This handy feature keeps an eye on all your blind spots and then gives you a little alert if anything comes up. Thanks pal!

    Super strong, super safe
    The bad-ass body of this badboy is made of aluminium alloy, carbon fibre and ultra high-strength steel. Now that sounds pretty sturdy to us. Plus the platform has a super low centre of gravity, helping to prevent rollovers and even improve handling.

    Looking after you
    The hardware system built in to the R1S includes an interior camera to keep a digital eye on the driver alertness. If you start to get drowsy or lose focus on the road ahead, you’ll get an alert to get your hands on the wheel to keep driving with Driver+.

  • Driver assistance

    Maths that’s fun
    Eleven cameras. Five radars. Twelve ultrasonic sensors. Driver+ means your vehicle can automatically adjust steering, speed, and even change lanes (on your instruction of course). You still need to keep your eyes on the road though. Enjoy the drive.

  • Lane Keep Assist

    No Tokyo driftin’
    The Rivian R1S comes with Lane Keep Assist. This nifty bit of tech means you vehicle can scan the road lines and keep track of your position. If you start to drift, it can give audible or visual warnings, and even steer you back on track.

    This terrific truck is like a duck to water. They’re rated to wade up three feet deep. And no combustion engine means there’s no need to worry about snorkels. So traverse the wilderness to your hearts content. This puppy has got you covered.

    Crazy connected
    It’s 4G and WiFi capable. It can pair to Bluetooth devices no problemo. It’s got 6 USBs built in, as well as 4 110v outlets. And it even has Amazon Alexa built in. Add that to the wireless charging capabilities and you’ll feel like you’re driving the future.

    With a glorious 15.6-inch infotainment screen built beautifully into the dash and a dazzling 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster behind the flat-bottomed wheel, there’s so much to look at inside the R1S. It even has Amazon Alexa integration so you can talk to it too.
