Seat The super Spaniards

SEAT amarite? Everyone’s heard of SEAT. But not everyone knows it stands for Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo. Yup. SEAT started out in Spain in the 1950s with the sole goal of getting Spain moving. Fast forward 70 years and SEAT just committed to investing €5 billion into expanding its EV range. Their first ever pure electric car, the SEAT Mii, won What Car?’s small electric car of the year 2020. So SEAT is one to watch for sure.

SEAT is already expanding its EV repertoire. Between the buggy-like Seat Minimo concept car and their luxury sub-brand CUPRA El-Born hatchback – launching under their Cupra sub-brand – they’re covering all the bases. We can’t wait to see what they get up to.
Estimated Release Date: 2021(ish)

Minimo

Made extra cute by the accent over the o, the SEAT Minimo is incoming to mix up the urban micromobility market. Pegged as having the best of a car and a motorcycle all rolled in to one, we can’t wait for these puppies to come to fruition.
