Employers that care about sustainability can now receive a financial incentive to make a positive impact.

The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) can help employers provide additional benefits for employees, who do not have to a pay fuel benefit charge on electricity provided by their employers to charge their company vehicles. And for clients and customers, access to workplace electric vehicle charge-points can be an huge incentive for them to do business with you - as well as a welcome convenience.

A voucher-based grant of up to £10,000 is currently available; the Government Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is designed to provide eligible applicants with financial support towards the upfront costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge-points. The contribution is limited to the 75% of purchase and installation costs, up to a maximum of £500 for each socket, and up to a maximum of 20 sockets across all sites for each applicant.

Step 1 - Contact WeVee

When your organization has decide to switch to an electric vehicle, just contact us and we will help you through the process. 

Step 2 - We have a quick chat

We will have a quick chat with you to understand your requirements and we will schedule a visit so that we can present the benefits of electric vehicle to employees and the company.  We will do all the leg work to find the right solution for you.

Step 3 - Receive your permission

We will need your permission before we contact our charge point solution providers. This will be a simple document that we will send you and any authorised person of the company can sign this electronically.

Step 4 - Solutions provider will contact you

Our charging solutions provider will contact you and discuss your requirement in detail and fix an appointment for a site visit.

Step 5 - Site visit survey

The engineer will visit the site and evaluate the maximum power capacity, the location of electric meters, parking location, etc. The engineer will then recommend the best solution of products that can be installed and provide you with a quote.

Step 6 - Purchase order

Once you are satisfied with the quote, you will need to issue a purchase order.

Step 7 - Built to order

On receipt of the purchase order, the chargers will be built to order. It will take about 2 - 4 weeks for the manufacture the charge units. The supplier will confirm the installation date.

Step 8 - Installation and commissioning

On the day of installation the engineer will visit your site and complete the installation. Depending on the number of charging units, the entire process takes anywhere between 4 hrs to 2 days. Once the installation is complete the unit will be certified and you will be given a demonstration of the charger and all the applications that you can use to manage the charger effectively.
