    The Fiat 500e has nifty tech that can warn drivers if there’s something lurking in their blind spots. It’s like having an extra pair of super smart digital eyes. You’ll get alerted acoustically and by lights on the wing mirror too.

    When driving at less than 8mph, the Fiat 500e can alert the driver to obstacles anywhere around the car. This is thanks to the 360° view-parking sensors with 11 sensors placed on the front, side and rear. Parking will be a breeze.

    Thanks to clever little cameras built into the car, the Fiat 500e can detect and interpret road signs. It can then ping that info to your driver display so you know what speeds you should be keeping to, keeping you even safer.

    The Fiat 500e has Adaptive Cruise Control. This means you set the speed and distance from the ahead vehicle you’d like to keep, and your car then autonomously drives to these settings. It can even come to a stop with traffic itself too.

  • Emergency braking

    Belting braking
    Up to 80mph this clever little car can automatically brake to avoid collisions with vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. If the driver doesn’t respond to acoustic and visual warnings that it gives first, the brakes are applied to minimise damage risk.

  • Lane assist

    Keeps you in line
    If you start to drift out of your lane, the Fiat 500e detects this movement. It can alert the driver to this with audio, visual, or even haptic alerts – think vibrating steering wheel – and even have active action on the steering wheel itself.

  • Emergency alerts

    Might save your life
    If you’re in an accident and the airbags deploy, the Fiat 500e forwards an automatic emergency call on your behalf to 112 (European Emergency number). It transmits your location and vehicle status so they can get to you even quicker. Safe.

  • Fatigue alert

    Really looks after you
    You shouldn’t drive tired, and the 500e knows this too. By monitoring lateral movements of the vehicle, it detects signs of fatigue in the driver. Acoustic and visual warnings remind the driver to have a break. Aww.
