SKODAs founders Laurin and Klement actually started out making bicycles back in the 1890s. And energy-wise, things have come full circle as they’ve gone through combustion cars and motorbikes, and on to electric vehicles. The SKODA eCITIGO, a four-seater city car, was its first foray into the world of EVs. And over the next five years, SKODA will invest €2 billion in developing EVs and mobility services. By 2023, they will have introduced over 10 different electric models. Dang.
The Czech car manufacturer also presented a purely electric and purely awesome concept car called the Vision iV. It’s now entered production as the SKODA Enyaq iV – their first ever all-electric SUV. And it’s kinda all we can talk about.
Born from the Vision IV concept car, the SKODA Enyaq is SKODA’s first foray into the purpose-built all-electric world. One of our favourite up-and-comers on the electric SUV market, it’s got tantalising tech and a slick design to match.
