Underpinned by Mercedes' new Modular Architecture (MMA) platform, the CLA Shooting Brake is expected to house the same 85-kWh battery pack, supporting an 800V electrical architecture of the 4-door coupe version. This setup will facilitate rapid 350 kW charging capabilities, allowing for more than 200 miles in just 10 minutes. The vehicle will feature Mercedes's new MB. OS software, providing advanced AI assistance, Level 5 autonomous driving capabilities, and over-the-air updates, ensuring the system remains current with the latest features and improvements.
The CLA Shooting Brake is expected to feature the same powertrains as the 4-Door coupe version, with the base 268 hp single motor up to the 349 hp dual motor setup, as the range is also expected to provide up to 492 miles of range on a single charge.
